One Light:10 Portraits with Cris Duncan
Add diversity to your portfolio and skills to your repertoire by harnessing the power of light. Cris will do a live demo creating ten unique images using only one light source and a 1x4 strip box. This presentation will empower you to see the creativity, flexibility, and quality that a single source can create.

Bio
Cris along with his bride, Deanna, own and operate CjDuncan Photog- raphy, a high-end portrait and commercial studio in Lubbock, TX.
CjDuncan Photography has flourished for almost two decades in a competitive market and continue to be regarded as one of the top studios in Texas. Cris is a Master Photographer, Master Artist, Certified Professional Photographer, and a Photographic Craftsman.
Since turning pro in 2002, they have photographed Presidents, Vice Presidents, dignitaries, and countless others. Cris has worked for such companies as Armenta Jewelry Design, Bahama Bucks, Stephen Joseph, Frito-Lay and Bayer CropScience and been honored to photograph numerous weddings, portraits and commercial assignments of great people all over this land.
Cris, who is one of only a handful of PPA approved CPP instructors and an IPC Juror, is also the recipient of several awards and honors including 3-time Grand Imaging Award finalist and a multi-year PPA Medalist. Garnered with best portrait, wedding, and commercial trophies from both TPPA and PPA Districts, Cris and Deanna have both become respected educators and leaders in the photographic community.
Cris and Deanna have been married since 1997 and have one daughter, Elizabeth, who is a med school student at Sam Houston College of Osteopathic Medicine.
